We provide the highest professional standards in home care, with client- and family-centered care in the patient’s home. We seek to collaborate with the patient and all family members to ensure clients receive services appropriate for their needs.
Royal Health Care Services provide nurses, home health aides, personal care companions, and therapy services to individuals who require or prefer such services in their home. We will also provide staff placement within institutions or organizations, which require temporary assistance.
About Our President

Phyllis Ettinger, M.A., M. Ed., is the president and CEO of Royal Health Care Services, a Licensed Home Care Agency with offices Nassau, Queens and Manhattan. Ms. Ettinger was trained as a psychologist and holds an M.A. in Personality and Social Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling. She was formerly an adjunct professor of Psychology at the City University of New York and at the Helene Fuld School of Nursing.
In 1989, Ms. Ettinger founded Royal Health Care Services, where she has created a community-based agency geared to meet the individual needs of each client. In addition, she has designed a specialized dementia program dedicated to training personnel to care for Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
An Involved CEO
Phyllis Ettinger takes an active “hands-on” role in every aspect of Royal Health Care Services. Each and every employee is personally interviewed and approved by Ms. Ettinger.
Ms. Ettinger has been a member of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) Advisory Board for more than 20 years and was Chairperson for five years. She is currently is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Senior Umbrella Network of Queens and Nassau County and was formally a Board Member of the Professional Rehabilitation Association.

At Royal Health Care Services, the responsibility for a client’s safety and well-being is important. We are selective in hiring caregivers and choose candidates for their capabilities, as well as sensitivity to a client’s temperament, needs, privacy and home.
